Call's For TED CRUZ to resign Over His response to school shooting in Uvalde
In response to Society Colorado GOP Sen. Ted Cruz's comments within the wake of the Uvalde school shooting that will left 19 trainees and two coaches dead, several dozens of Texas teachers, school employees and sybiosis officials organized a good protest outside Cruz's office in town center Austin on Monday afternoon, chanting “shame on you, " your San Antonio Express-News reports.
As the Express-News points out, the protesters also called for safer classrooms, tighter marker regulation policies together with a pushback against unsupported claims promoting the arming of teachers with classrooms.
“Educators can be here to teach, not to ever police, †said Zeph Capo, your Texas chapter director of the American Federation of Teachers.
Following on from the shooting, Cruz offers focused on increasing reliability in schools and dismissed proposals political snarky with regard to increased regulations with guns and marker purchases.
“The elites who dominate some of our culture, tell us this firearms lie with the root of the problem, †Cruz said in a Friday speech with the National Rifle Connection conference in Houston. “It’s a lot easier so that you can moralize about guns and to shriek political snarky about those you differ with politically, however , it’s never become about guns. â€
According to Cruz, anybody looking to increase limits on gun is trying to "disarm Usa. "
